Release: Former Jefferson Parish President John Young endorses John Kennedy for U.S. Senate

BATON ROUGE, La.- Former Jefferson Parish President John Young today endorsed John Kennedy in Louisiana’s U.S. Senate race.

"John Kennedy has always looked out for the best interests of Louisiana taxpayers. As a U.S. Senator, I know he'll work to rein in Washington's out of control spending, and I'm proud to endorse him,” Young said.

Kennedy said, “I appreciate John Young’s endorsement. Leaders like John from across the state are rallying behind my campaign because they know I’ll be a strong conservative voice for Louisiana in Washington.”

Young is the latest to join the growing list of people who are supporting Kennedy. He’s recently received the support of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, Sen. David Vitter, Sen. Bill Cassidy, Rep. Ralph Abraham, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, Rep. John Fleming, Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser and Rep. Charles Boustany.

Release: Republican Parish Executive Committee of Caddo Parish Endorses Kennedy for U.S. Senate

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Republican Parish Executive Committee of Caddo Parish has endorsed John Kennedy in the U.S. Senate race.

Committee Chairman Louis Avallone praised Kennedy for “effectively and tirelessly” working on behalf of Louisiana and touted his fiscal conservative credentials.

“After the anti-energy policies of the last eight years, that have nearly bankrupted our state and nation, Louisiana can scarcely afford to send an old-fashioned, “Yellow Dog” Democrat like Foster Campbell to Washington, standing on the worn-out, rotted-out, broken-down platform of the Democratic Party,” Avallone said. “Their liberal policies have failed everywhere they have been tried, and they certainly don’t represent the pro-life, religious freedom, and traditional Louisiana values that we hold dear.”

Kennedy said, “Louisiana voters want a conservative Senator who will vote their values, and they can count on me to be their voice in Washington.”

Kennedy has also been endorsed by the National Right to Life Committee and the American Conservative Union.

Release: National Right to Life Endorses Kennedy for U.S. Senate

BATON ROUGE, La. – National Right to Life endorsed John Kennedy in his bid to become the next U.S. Senator for Louisiana.

National Right to Life supports pro-life candidates and causes around the nation to help protect the rights of unborn children. The National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) is the oldest and the largest national pro-life organization in the United States with affiliates in all 50 states and over 3,000 local chapters nationwide.

“We must make sure that pro-life voters in Louisiana go to the polls on Dec. 10 and know that Republican John Kennedy is the pro-life candidate. We must make the Senate 52 to 48 for the babies, not 51-49…that would be just too close!” wrote Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.

Kennedy said, “I’m proud to receive the endorsement of National Right to Life. I believe that all life is precious and should be defended. I will proudly stand for life in the United States Senate."
